Re: CPCC video stream

I've been watching the stream off and on all day. Looks good. I made the
screen a wee bit bigger than the default screen and I almost feel like I'm
there. Remember boys and girls. The real goal of the antis is to take all
feeling of socialization away from those of us who smoke. If they can
isolate and make smoking a solitairy activity....they win. Thats what the
big to do about the tent and smoking where nobody but folks who smoke gather
is really about. Wherever more than one person gathers and enjoys himself
smoking...thats a real threat to the anti tobacco movement.

I got it to work, but the camera is so far away that it really is not

watching. The show looks pretty empty, and I am glad that I didn't go.

Mike, You seem like a decent guy but could you stop putting down the
show? I just came home from it and am going back tomorrow. The turn
out looked about the same to me as last year. Of the people I talked
with, some did say that sales weren't great but others were completely
or nearly sold out. I picked up a few pipes and have a couple more
waiting for me tomorrow and have bought lots of tobacco and picked up
samples of others. Yeah, it sucks that you can't smoke in the
convention center but people seemed to be having a blast in the tent.
Trust me. You and everyone else that didn't go missed out on seeing a
great show and talking with lots of people you don't often get to see.

I am a decent guy. I merely commented that the streaming video didn't
really show people and the show looked empty based on the video. I
have been going to pipe shows for about 30 years. I was not putting
down the show. The Chicago guys put a lot of work into the show, and
they are to be commended for their efforts.

That's how I had read you comments, Mike.
