Hello there ASP!
If you would point your browser here:
You will see this week's Latest Pipe Arrivals.
This week, The Piperack has all of our current-stock Radices on sale. With a
new shipment of Radices on their way, we are offering our entire selection
of current-stock unsmoked Radices at discounts of 20% off. Radice pipes have
been around since 1980, providing smokers the world over with top-quality
Italian craftsmanship and design. A true "family affair", today all Radice
pipes are made by only three craftsmen: Luigi "Gigi" Radice and his two
sons, Marzio and Gian Luca. Always the innovators, Radice has introduced
many new features and finishes, such as the twin-bore mouthpiece; an
oil-curing process, which provides the smoker with a rich, nutty break-in
and an additional depth to the flavour; the craggy "Bark" finish; and
recently the "Retro" line which pays homage to the original Caminetto shapes
that Luigi Radice helped develop. And this week, for our list only, you can
take your pick at 20% off these special pieces!
This week's "Piperack Pick" has to go to the Fantastic Peter Hedegaard OP1
Squat Bulldog. Peter Hedegaard had been making between 100 and 200 pipes
each year since he started carving pipes in the mid 1970s. Trained at W.O.
Larsen (along with the likes of Hans "Former" Nielsen and Svend Bang), Peter
learned quickly and soon was making exquisite pipes on his own. Those who
have not smoked a Hedegaard do not know what they're missing. Carved from
only the very finest, well-seasoned Corsican and Greek briar, these pipes
are very well constructed and are excellent smokers. The draw is always nice
and open, making for an easy smoking pipe. Unfortunately, Peter passed away
last year; he will be missed terribly. This particular piece is a lovely
squat bulldog. One of the interesting aspects of this pipe is the rounded
triagular flaring shank, which is a beautiful contrast to the rigidly
defined rings of the bulldog. Top it off with the exotic hardwood stem
treatment and handcut vulcanite stem and you have one heck of a piece! Rated
9.75 out of 10, this one is near-mint and ready for your favorite blend, so
don't miss out! If you prefer English, we have a bargain Dunhill Root, a
super-rare Sasieni Four Dot Straightgrain Patent, a pair of Petersons
(including a pre-Republic bent smooth), a Charatan skater and more. Italy
brings us goodies from Cavicchi (a beautiful 3C Billiard with silver), a
nice big Radice Rind GT, a cool older long-shank Savinelli Canadian, a
beautiful Ardor Giove bent egg and many more.
Don't miss the beautiful Ron Fairchild Tan Rustic Lovat, or the cool
Family-Era Sasieni Four Dot King Size! Next update comes February 22, with
more fantastic pipes from around the world!
Thanks for looking,
