discussions, at all?
Exactly. The use of the term "divisive" to criticize another's post implies that the opinions of the majority should never be questioned or that no one should ever express even a hint of disagreement for fear of hurting someone's feelings. Who'd want to participate in such a toothless forum? How useful could it be? Don't we get enough of that politically correct nonsense in the real world? I hope ASP remains free of it and I intend to do my part to insure that it does. There *are* moderated forums for those who prefer bland baby food, but as for me, I'll take steak even if it *is* sometimes improperly cooked! ;-)
Now, I hope that we can get on with discussing things and each one of
us respecting the other person's difference of opinion.
Amen. Disagreement, even when forcefully expressed, does not always connote disrespect.
