if you smoke like paul szabady, you always get a great smoke. do a google
.....i can't say it better than he did.

it's true it will serve as a sort of filter. personally, i throw filters
away. i like a direct smoke. but in europe especially germany, folks love
filters and half of the pipes are made with 9mm filter bores. maybe the pipe
cleaner idea could be a good venture for them.

Anyhow...tried in a cob...and in a Comoy Second panelled Billiard.
Both were great. With Billy Budd, and Royal Yacht. Budd in Comoy and
Yacht in Cobb.

The pleasing side effect is that this method Imparts the pleasant
resistance of the perfect cigarette, without wrecking flavor of pipe
tobacco. Mostly it dries out the smoke.
