And there you go! Kooks like Peter would like to forget (or obscure) the fact that it was the Russians and Chinese who supplied the Viet Minh with arms to defeat the French in the first place. They constantly warble their off-key tune about the "moral right" of US involvement without showing the slightest embarrassment over historical reality. These nuts will spin their factual distortions, unfounded speculations, willful exaggerations, inadequate scholarship, egregious errors and blatant falsehoods in every possible way, so long as the result shows the USA in a bad light. It's almost comical.
