Not a problem. I wasn't taking issue with anyone in specific.

I really like Ian. I have spoken to him on the phone. I have raised
funds here to help him out of trouble. I even offered to help him find
work if he ever decided to re-locate. But I do not think that Usenet is
a healthy place for Ian. Any kind of conflict sends him into a
depression, and Usenet is nothing if not conflict-filled, even a fairly
tame group like this one.

I think he was hitting it right on when he was doing his blog. I may not
have liked what he wrote, but it gave him the opportunity to get his
thoughts out without having to concern himself with challenges to them.
That just won't happen here.
