We need you here, buddy.

You know, I've always had a theory that Sykes doesn't want his employees
posting to the Internet, so as to avoid hurting the business in any way.
Never heard anything to confirm this, but I've always suspected it. I
hope it's not the case, though. ASP needs Bear back! :-)

Hope all are well,
Ian

your theory might be right ian, who knows. but i think that what
really is happening is that most people are too busy having lives. i
too miss the bear, nizo, jeff, and countless others. life is too short
and most are living it while they can.

I'll answer for two of the ones listed. I think that it is safe to say
that both Bear and I read ASP when time permits. The pipe business is
actually very brisk, which is a good thing! While it would be a luxury
to be able to post here (and luxurious, too), it seems that ASP is doing
just fine without us. Both of us are also very conscious of the fact
that we work in the industry and that anything we post might be
construed as absolute fact or an advertisement. Neither may be the
case, but neither of us want to stir the pot (I can just sense all the
minds boggling at Jeff not wanting to be a pot stirrer).

Carry on and hoist a bowl!

Mr. Follodor:
I believe Ian was lamenting the lose of Bear Graves presence on
ASP, not yours.

Jeff was around and running group buys for ASP long before you wondered in.
We lost two good people and great resources when they quit posting to the group.
