In the years that I've been reading ASP, I've seen a lot of "I was

Tim;
Reflecting on what you said, I have offended at least two people on
ASP, and that is two too many. I believe that the right thing for me
to do is to refrain from posting here on ASP, cut my losses and just
shut my trap. ASP would be the better for it.
I am not offended so much as perplexed by your 'logic.' Rather than
blaming all of us for your loss, which I agree is not
inconsiderable, why don't you reveal the name of the alleged
miscreant? As for your romantic notions of pipe smokers in general
and ASP posters in particular, I don't feel that topic worthy of
further discussion. Indeed, reading this newsgroup for a few months
should have permanently erased all such ideas. I do wonder,
however, how and why you think that "ASP would be the better for it"
if you no longer participated, or was that merely said in pique?

I've been an alleged miscreant more times than I can count. It's on my
resume'.

Alas, the thread stealer has returned to do it one more time. That's
it, turn the thread so that now it's about you, well it isn't about
you, it 's a serious discussion about an ASPer who I happen to like
and care about. You've sold your pipes, now find another group to
harass, bother and do the things that you do so well, all of which
make me ill.
Well, Uncle Paddy, aren't you going to stand up for this dripping
nose, non pipe smoking jerk's right to be here?
Marty
Gary,
If I left, I would miss you too much.

What do you mean IF you left? What the hell could you possibly do now
that you are no longer a pipe smoker and have sold off your pipes and
tobacco? Of what use could this group be to you, except as a toy to
keep jerking good folks around for no other reason than you have
nothing else to do? This is a group for pipe smokers, and would be
fine for any ex pipe smoker except you. Shoo, fie, get thee away
troll. Go find another group to bother and annoy for the next couple
of years, hijack their threads,
stick your fowl face in their business. Start your own group, you can
spend all your time pretending to be different people and have a great
time talking to yourself...you'll have found your dream.
Marty
Gary,
Lots of anger above. My family always starts a "Thankful Book" when we
get like this. Just get a notebook and every day, write one thing you
are thankful for in your life. It really helps to center your soul and
purge the bad vibes.

I had written Scott Curtis has finally left, and I was thankful for
that, but the bad vibes returned when he posted again. So, tell us
Mr. Curtis WTF are you doing back amongst the gentle folk who still
smoke their pipes?

Gary,
Not everybody here are gentle folk. Bigron is always wrestling me to
the ground and giving me the "Purple Nurple". That is not gentle!
