Howdy ASP,
I am back from Belize. The job I went to do went well. I actually managed
to finish with enough time to enjoy some time with friends and we went out
on the water to a small key called Snake Key (named for the tree boas that
inhabit the key). It was a fast paced trip, but very enjoyable. It is
always nice to get away from the daily grind.
I didn't smoke a pipe as the humidity is VERY high, instead I opted
for Cuban cigars and cigs. I smoked a couple of Cohibas. :-) They still
aren't cheap, but cheaper than they are here in the US, at about $14.00 US
a piece. So here is a pic (large file) of where I spent my Saturday this
past weekend.

Welcome home.
I have a buddy who gave up his medical practice and moved to Belize back in the 70's and stayed for 20 years running a horse back eco-tour business down there. There are days when he misses it, but not many. As they say, a great place to visit but...
