Dunhill's Three Year Matured Virginia: Still Flavored?

Hello friends,
I'm a new pipe enthusiast and a first-time poster. I'll get straight
to my query, but first I want to thank everyone on ASP for helping me
learn to smoke better, sooner. This group is great!
My burning question is this: Is the current incarnation of Dunhill's
Three Year Matured Virginia flavored or not? tobaccoreviews.com claims
that the tin description says "...lightly flavoured with mixed fruit
essence", but my tin does not have that text (although, my tin does
look exactly like the pictured one). Many of the reviewers cite an
overwhelming berry smell, but I don't smell anything I would call
overwhelming. Certainly, there are sweet smells (the tobacco itself,
for starters), but nothing over-the-top fruity... at least, not at all
like the bulk flavored tobaccos I've smelled at my local B&M.
However, as a newbie I know my skills are pretty poor. I'm trying to
train my palette and this stuff has me vexed. Is anyone else currently
smoking a newish tin of this? If it helps, my tin has the number
"0508112225" printed on the back label, which might be some indicator
of production date.
Thank you! Oh, and if anyone is interested in my journey as a nascent
smoker, I'd be glad to post my story of briars, cobs, blends, and ten
thousand matches.
Thanks again,
Lyle
