The CORPS 22nd Annual Expo is nearly here! Just wanted to put out some
addtional info. The meeting of the International Charatan Collectors
Society (ICCS) at the Expo is CONFIRMED! The ICCS will meet on Friday,
September 29, from 4PM to 6PM in the Bon Air Room. Special guest for
the meeting will be Robert (Bobby) Eichorn, who plans to bring his
ENTIRE collection for display. This is an open meeting (no requirement
of 5 Charatans on your person), and everyone is invited to come and
learn more about Charatan pipes. In order to repect the purpose and
integrety of the ICCS, it is asked that you smoke and show only your
Charatan pipes during the meeting. The CORPS is excited to have the
chance to host this momentous event!

The deadline for rooms and table reservations is also fast approaching.
The hotel is holding a special block of rooms for the show until
September 8. Mention "pipesmokers" when you call for the special show
rate. Also, we are extending the cutoff for table reservations until
that date as well. If your table reservation is postmarked by
September 8, you get the discount rate noted in on the reservation
form. Disregard the September 1 date (We will still accept
reservations after the 8th, but the rate is higher). We want to get as
many tables as possible reserved by the 8th so we can complete the
floor plan and wrap up other organizational details with the hotel.
Some tables are still available.
