1) Go to symantec's site & do an online scan of your system
Some virus's corrupt antivirus software and/or keep them from updating.
2) If #1 doesn't solve the problem, uninstall NAV, shut down your system, for 2 minutes, then reinstall NAV

3) If problem is still not solved, contact me by email & we will get into the registry

then disappears after awhile whereas it was never there before, and
doesn't seem to be loading any updates. When I first saw it I checked
for updates and there were some which required me to restart the system
but I dont quite understand why its always there now. My understanding
is that its only present if the system requires updates? I would
appreciate any assistance to get my system back to it former level of
efficency.
