Please don't get me wrong, I feel for those who lost their savings. I
got burned by Laidlaw/Safety-Kleen and lost all my retirement savings
that I invested in them, and have some victim experience with corporate
scams. But, was it only one person who was responsible for the losses
these people suffered?
I guess I should have phrased my comment a bit differently. We must
not let things get personal and that the victims of the scam must push
for justice with those who participated in the scam who are still
alive. Does it do them any good to go after a dead man? Let's go
after the ones who are still here with us, ensure that justice is done
and that these things don't ever happen again, thanks to
Sarbanes-Oxley.
