Peterson Pipes have a long history. Since yours says "the Republic of
Ireland" it's fairly modern - sometime in the last 50 years. If the
cap were sterling silver it might have markings which could be
accurately dated, but if it's made of nickel, which is much more
common, there's no way to precisely say how old the pipe may be. Sorry.

great smoker,my first system pipe,will be looking at getting a new one
