Re: Do you know him? Is it you?

No .. I know it was not Lee or Mark. I have never met Mark so using him
as a description wont work for me but if you added a little weight to
Lee and darkened his complexion it might be very close.

From your description I would guess either Mark Tinsky or Lee Von Erck. But
then again there is a good chance that it was Michael Glukler.

Ok ... I need everyones help on this one.

I dont know who he is so right off the bat let me say I aint no help
but I need to search out and locate a person that was at the Chicago
show this weekend. The only thing I can do is describe him and give as
much information as I can about him. Maybe he is one of us or maybe
somebody knows him or ... well all I'm asking for is ... HELP!!!

Ok here goes ...

The gentleman is about at least 6'-4" if not taller and is on the
heavier side of light but carried it very well (just thought I would
say that cause I could carry mine even better than I do)

He was ... um ... uh ... I dont mean to be politicly incorrect but he
was of the ligher shade of the african american skin tone.

He was from the Louisville Kentucky area ... I know this because his
wife would kill him if he had bought a certain pipe and he wondered if
I would go to his funeral if that would happen. Yes I would go to his
funeral if not for a new friend but to have a chance at his pipe
collection as well. ;-)))

He was in the pipe smoking contest Sunday afternoon sitting at the far
back corner table.

Now if anyone knows him please help me out in getting in touch with
him. I have something for him but on Sunday afternoon our paths never
crossed other than ... well if ya been at a show ya'll know how it is.
You see a person and try and get with them and next thing ya know they
are not where you saw them but where you were and then once again by
the time you get back to that area they or you are somewhere else and
before ya know it the cops are beatin ya with a stick to get out the
door cause the show is over.

HELP!!! Can anyone or you help me find this person? I feel bad because
we had stopped and chatted a few different times during the weekend and
I neve did get his name but there was a friendship formed and ... well
... I need to get him something that he wanted. Does anyone know who it
could be?
