My son Alex, a Sgt. in the 101st came home from Iraq on a two week leave this month. He is doing very well considering it is his second tour in Iraq. We had a great time celebrating the hollidays for a second time!
Please give your son all our best wishes and thanks for a job well done. As everyone knows, sergeants are the ones who *really* run the Army! ;-)
He is due back sometime in October. To celebrate his return home, I promised to buy him a couple of pipes, some good tobacco, and some lessons on how to pack and smoke them. I'm looking forward to some quality time with him.
Excellent!
