One caveat...the unfilled bowl of the pipe does accumulate water. I
assume
it's from condensation. The resultant gurgling irritates me so I remove
the
coloring bowl mid-smoke to dump out the water from the pipe. I've tried
coiling a pipecleaner into the empty bowl but it doesn't seem to soak
up
enough liquid to solve my problem. Could just be my pipe or my
technique [or
lack of said]. I dunno.

I hadn't noticed what you report; so I decided to smoke a meer with a
coloring bowl and pay particular attention to the accumulation of
moisture. I just finished a bowl of Exotique in a coloring bowl in an
IMP meer. So far as I can tell, there was no water in the bowl of the
IMP after I finished the smoke; nor did I hear any gurgling during the
smoke.
