OT: Musings

Dear ASP,
As I sit here smoking a bowl of Revelation I find myself in Nirvana,
and so thinking about the beauty of life. I have my cat sitting on my
lap and enjoying one of the most sublime of tobacco blends. I now know
why Einstein liked it so much. It's not my favorite mixture but what a
blend. Nature was a single perfect unit when HOW created this blend,
who knows when.
And I'm thinking about how much I love to read, how much I enjoy books,
classic and contemporary novels, good literature in general. The book
is by far the most perfect of human inventions. God doesn't even come
close.
Sorry Asp, I just finished a great book and I feel as if I just made
love all night to the most beautiful woman.
And I'm reinforcing my commitment in life: my dream is to not have to
worry about finances and one day be able to dedicate myself entirely to
reading, in a house with a view to the Pacific ocean. Oh, how I love
the Pacific ocean. If you haven't seen it, don't let life slip by you
before seeing it.
One day, it's not too far off or too far away, I will be reading my
books and listening to the waves crash on a beach, in a place located
in the Pacific ocean.
And I promise: When that day comes, every year I will invite one Asper
(and his or her companion) to my house and we will read poetry,
overlooking the ocean and smoking our pipes. That's how much I owe to
Asp, and to life. So, Aspers, if you like the Pacific ocean, stick
around.
Cheers
Yoseph
