Thanks for the suggestion, Michael. I should probably do some easy sit-
ups to make my abdominal muscles stronger. I used to be a fitness nut, I
worked out with free weights, did steps one hundred at a time and walked
fast, long distances. I ran into a problem then, however, with
Osteonecrosis in both hips and a deteriorating knee from a bad car
accident. I had one hip replaced but the situation has worsened, lately,
now I must use a cane to even get around. It's like exercise is sooo
difficult now. If I just go through regular life and ride the motorcycle
a little bit I feel like I'm getting a bit of activity. I spend a lot of
time in bed deeply asleep, it seems to help with pain control. Michael,
you are absolutely right, excercise is the number one answer for back
problems, especially *before* a major back incident. They told me, after
the last MRI, that it is scar tissue, from the previous surgery, causing
the problem with my back. If I do a lot of stuff I get swelling around
the vertebrae that causes the scar tissue to connect with nerves. That
ain't good. :) Sorry to go on so.
