| but Robert G sure saved my computer from total destruction, by either
| the swarm a' virus/adware/ spyware goober sunza bitches that had it
| held hostage, or by me, who had just about had it up to here (my
| hand is underneath my chin) and was this close (my index finger and
| thumb are very close together indicating a very small amount) to
| tossin' the miz'rable possessed monster from computer hell in the
| shitcan. I'd like to gush about whadda great guy Robert G but you'll
| get the picture when I tell you he stayed on the phone with me for 16
| hours!!! He got the computer up and runnin' but he had just begun. He
| took a few hours to sleep and eat and then he was back to finish the
| job. He took my computer down to zero, but before he did he made sure
| all my important stuff was safe. Then he proceeded to literally take
| remote control of my computer.The calvalry had come. I sat there and
| watched as he did everything. Then I watched him rebuild it from the
| ground up. It took him a total of 24 hours to get it all finished and
| he stayed on the phone with me the whole time. Robert does this for a
| livin'. Ya' know how much he charged me for 24 hours of work broken
| only with little sleep? You got it, he charged me nothin'. Not a
| drachma. He said he knew he could fix my computer and his heart just
| wouldn't let him not help me. This is a good man. So here I am with
| all kindsa new stuff I gotta get used to (I'm doin' this on Forte
| Agent) but my computer is runnin' lightenin' fast and is safe from the
| warped parasites that get some kinda' jolt outta' makin' other
| people's lives just a little shittier. Goes to show ya' that for every
| thousand shit heels the universe is somehow balanced 'cause every now
| and again there's a person like Robert G and the acts of kindness by
| people like you Robert do not go unnoticed. Thanks buddy.

You got lucky Frenchy. Lucky that Robert was able to dedicate that amount of
time to take care of your computer. Most people I know don't realize how
much of a problem these hijackers, trojans, and virus can cause. Most of us
don't have the block of time it requires to do what he did remotely. Once
you start, you have to see it though to the end, or your client is in worse
shape (if that's possible) than when they started.

Out of 5 computers that I've had to clean up, 3 I had to reinstall the OS
and apps. The other 2 I managed to clean w/o such drastic measures, but my
confidence of success was low. On 2 of the 3 that had to be reinstalled the
dam things would come back after a few minutes or hours, even though they
never went online. System files were hijacked and there were too many to
continue to replace.

Now I keep a cloned HDD right after the reinstall, and back up only the data
files. Of course, since then no major problems to fix, just because I'm
prepared. (Except this computer, so I don't let my kids use it on line...)

Robert deserves all the credit you can possibly give him. A bowl to him!
