As to what Mythdoc said about ppl who operate heavy machinery, I was intrigued by pipe smoking because of 3 important ppl in my life.
My father, his father and my father's friend, this friend of his is in his 80's now and use to run heavy machinery for a living.

hey Dale,
I'm a heavy equipment operator and mechanic...there are darn few people out there on job sites these days smoking pipes instead of cigars or cigarettes...I missed the post you're quoting - i.e. Mythdoc's comments about "ppl who operate heavy machinery,"...start a new thread on it and I'll chime in when I've got time.
Bert
It wasn't really about Mythdoc's comment, I was just flowing off it to relate...LOL
