It wouldn't make a difference as long as it wasn't too abrupt, but I predict the opposite will happen, with the elimination of price
supports and quota (starts with this season), U.S. tobacco production
and quality will increase and price will drop, though you won't see it
because the cost of the buyout is being passed on to the consumer.
