Maybe we can get a break on cigar taxes...?

I have this weird hypothesis (no real data, but a string of weird leaps) that, on the aggregate, [cigarette] smoking protects you from several other diseases, adding years to your life. The downside being that the last 2-5 years are a living hell for the smoker and anyone close to them.


(Cigar & pipe smoking seems to have little impact on health, other than to keep disease carrying pests away. ;)
