You have a for-profit insurance company and a long policy with a lot
of fine print that was created by company lawyers trying to control
expenditures. I'm not understanding why you think that's better.

Is the system you suggest losing money?

Canadian system cost ~60% of what the US system does.

Does the system you suggest have a short policy without fine print?

That would be where a lot of the Canadian system cost ~60% of what the
US system does part comes in. There is *way* less paperwork all the way
around. I'm talking orders of magnitude. My BIL shares a practice with
(IIRC) eight other doctors. The paperwork is done by one half-time
employee.

Does the system you suggest lack attempts to control expenditures?

Canadian system cost ~60% of what the US system does.
