We called it universal healthcare in Canada. It wasn't until I got
here that I routinely heard it referred to as above. Some words seem
to cause an emotional response and I'd rather avoid another pointless
debate.

Regardless of how people react to the words, would I be correct to say
that Canada's health care is *NOT* universal, but that it *IS*
socialized?

What do you think the distinction is?
