If you didn't understand the original statement, why not just ask for
clarification, rather than go off on a tangent?

Was this before or after the gallup poll showed up? Because before that
no one was splitting this particular hair.

But no matter. By the end of Bush's second term he couldn't get
the time of day out of G20 leaders, and he was massively unpopular with
the citizens of those countries as well. So both bases are covered.
