Well if you keep saying you would be better off as an independent
nation, refuse federal stimulus funds publicly and then insist on
getting them quietly a little later and spurn the president when he
invites you to be part of the think tank on immigration and border
problems, you might not get his attention when suddenly you want something.

Fine, let's play it that way. The Federal government can quit taking
our *GOD DAMN* money, and we'll fix these problems ourselves. Texas
has paid in more than we have got back for the last 30 years, anyway.

I'd also point out these are real people suffering real losses the
president is using as pawns to demonstrate he's not pleased with them
uppity white folk.
