Not really. I think you're spinning it negatively. While neither spin is
what I'd characterize as dishonest, if I were forced to pick one of the

revenues" I believe can accurately and honestly be represented as a
"tax-rate cut."

* Your tax-percentage rate is going to go down.
* You're going to get a raise.
* You're going to be able to buy more cool stuff.
* I'm going to benefit from all of this through increased tax-revenues.

("I" = the government speaking, in this case.)

The important part -- the honest declaration that most people want to
hear -- is: "your tax rate is going to go down -- you're getting a
tax-cut."

Well, Ted, you're forgetting that a bunch of people who were formerly mooching off of the rest of us will get hired and have to work for a living. *They* may not like it much.
