The reason she bailed was for the good of Alaska. She was being
hit by frivolous "ethics" charges on a weekly basis, many times
from people who had no standing in Alaska. She was forced to
spend more time defending herself from these baseless claims, than
doing the Alaskan people's work.

She made the right decision in my estimation. It was an Obi Wan
Kenobi moment. "If you strike me down, I will become more
powerful than you can ever imagine".

Now she's able to do the talk shows, give speeches, do debates,
and make money doing it while honing her skills. I think in two
years (I'd like her to try in six) she'll be somewhat ready to go
against the anointed one.

I will look at the primary field before I decide who to vote for,
but if she's the choice, I will gladly wear out shoe leather and
burn up the phone lines for her.

It's a nice story. It's not the truth. But it's a nice story.

Proof by blatant assertion. I figure she'll make her case to the
electorate, and the people who think like you would never vote for
her anyway, so it's a wash.

Soo... what were the findings of that frivolous ethics investigation,
anyway? Oh wait, here it is (p.8):

Finding One

For the reasons explained in section IV of this report, I find that
Governor Sarah Palin abused her power by violating Alaska Statute
39/52/110(a) of the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act. Alaska
Statute 39.52.110(a) provides

The legislature reaffirms that every public officer holds office as a
public trust, and any effort to benefit a personal or financial
interest through official action is a violation of that trust.

You're showing me some guy's report? Where's the conviction? What
jail time did she do? What fine did she pay?

I'll show you a guy who can prove Obama was born in Kenya. :P

The report was a finding of fact. Not a criminal trial. Nice try though.
