Your hyperbole is showing. According to this one source, the
difference is 3 years. 78 years vs 81 years.

This is not "genuinely terrible" nor is it "significantly worse".

Yes it is. Three years is an enormous gap.

But you have to live those three years in Canada as a Canadian. I
think it evens out. :)
