Coolidge's policies were only effective in the short-term, they amplified
the great depression which followed and lasted until WWII - Hoover's
inaction made things worse, Roosevelt's New Deal wasn't globally effective.
What the world needs is a real World War, with billions of victims and a
couple of continents destroyed. Then the economy will be better.
It will come unfortunately.
