It doesn't say that. You're stumbling over a parity that
doesn't exist. Just because bad works send you to hell
doesn't mean good works get you out of hell. It's correct
for the rich man to say "My bad works put me here." But
not correct for Lazarus to say "My good works put me
here in heaven." One is in heaven only because one's
bad works are washed away and Jesus' good works are
accredited to him.

So you are saying that not helping Lazarus was a bad work?

Also note that Abraham doesn't say that the rich man's brothers
need to believe or to do anything, except listen.

So how did the rich man end up in hell?

Didn't listen.

So he didn't do as instructed?
