If Hollywood types are so bad, hoe come they get so excited when they run
for office? When Arnies got "elected" there was talking of amending the
Constitution so he could run for president.

First you get the money, then you want the power....Hollywood is no
different. Besides, politicians suck the asses of two major groups:
"popular" gangsters and sucessful actors. It was documented that the
politician asked to more A list parties given by fellow politicians
was Sonny Bono. Go figure. Paul, many successful (financially)
people want to go into politics.
That is because it pays off. If Mittens Romney wants to pay 100 million of
his own money for a job that pays 400K a year, something is very very wrong
with this picture. One thing I know about rich men is that they know how to
stay rich - they don't spend a dime on anything that does not bring even
more money back to them.
