Might as well concede. Nate Silver has called it, repugs 3:1. It's all
over - well not including the voting.

Yahoo!!!!!!!!!! Another nail into the Democrats' health care
boondoggle IMO.

Yep, the operation was a complete success. However, the patient died.
Despite the smugness, the problem lingers on and that is not good for
anyone - even yourself.
Brown has a plan. Even after he takes that 2000 page boondoggle and
tosses it into the Potomac, he has plans to try and remove the
State/Insurance company monopolies and make the insurance companies
compete across state lines.

It'll be a great start. Probably less than 100 double spaced pages.
Problem will be keeping the Democrats from larding it up with pork.

Present it, debate it, vote on it, Obama signs it, and health care
begins to be fixed with not a single dollar stolen from the taxpayers.

I'll be interested to see if he can do it.

If he can get a few things accomplished, he can run for President in
2012. He'll have exactly the same amount of experience as Obama (but
with a greatly reduced amount of hopenchange ;)).

(All joking aside, if he performs, he'll be a shoe-in for VP.)

Even more important - we must RIGHT NOW work on getting good
candidates to run against the tax-n-spend Dems who's seats come up
this year ... NOT sacrificial lambs ... but VIABLE candidates, and
work for them no matter where we live!

We also have to scrutinize every candidate from dog catcher to president for key issues before we work/vote for them. If I ask a dog catcher candidate if they are pro-choice, they'll probably wonder why I'm asking because catching dogs has nothing to do with abortion.

Don't allow them to shift focus or obfuscate! They are larva politicians who may aspire to higher office. You may be voting for them for state legislature, the U.S. senate or even maybe president.

So find the best people even in the lowest levels of government. Actually, *especially* the lowest levels because you have the most impact.
