Yep, the operation was a complete success. However, the patient died.
Despite the smugness, the problem lingers on
WHAT PROBLEM? Why is no one even bothering to challenge the ONE!'s
underlying premise that we have a "health care crisis"? We don't.
No one in this country is turned away when they need "health care". No
one is dying in the streets for lack of care. AN ambulance is just a
phone call away for ANYONE who needs one.
Could thing's be improved? Of course they could! But a huge new
bureaucracy is not what is needed to help.
When an engine is chugging a little, and maybe misfiring a little bit,
the solution is >NOT< to put another huge load on it.
and that is not good for
anyone - even yourself.

It is a problem when you are looking for a freebie. The problem that Paul
has with healthcare is deciding to pay for it.
