Reports today say there is isolated issues but overall calm prevails. The
UN is reporting progress being made getting relief supplies out.

This is about the eighth day after the earthquake and the military is just now coming in to calm a deteriorating situation. Really, is there anyone standing who didn't think about the high probability of looting and killing? The only one I can think of lives on Pennsylvania Avenue in DC.
