Nope, no mistake. I had a lower quadrant CT scan only. No other test. I
did not have an MRI, either. BTW, this was the same hospital that quoted me
$10,000.00 for a colonoscopy. Which I have not had because I cannot afford
it. .

Those prices are insane and do not reflect anything that is current in

I think the additional cost was due to the fact that a neurosurgeon had to be called in. Initial scanning showed that his head was actually located in the lower quadrant.
Fixing a cerebral-rectal inversion is very costly. With Paul, it's a preexisting condition so it won't be insurable.

Rubbish. They have trained sniffer gerbils for that sort of thing.

$10k for a colonoscopy? I live in one of the most expensive places in the country for health care and I could get a half dozen for that price.
