You might be correct. But if she learns to play the media, she may be a force to be reckoned with. She won't do it by sticking to the choir on Hannity, Limbaugh and O'Reilley. She's going to have to figure out a way to charm the socks off of people like Chrissy (hissy fit) Matthews. Nutcase Olbermann is a lost cause.

She's been invited onto Rachel Maddow's show but hasn't accepted.

Not yet. She needs a bit more polish and policy viewpoint armor before she walks into lion's dens.

No matter what you think of her politics, Rachel Maddow is one of the best, most intelligent interviewers on TV, and always gives her guests the opportunity to speak their pieces without interruption. She's almost unfailingly polite. Even industry flacks will go on her show--some more than once--because even though she asks the hard questions, she gives them open space to speak. La Palin should go onto her show and try to match wits. She'd fail.

Of course she would. That's why she isn't doing it... yet. And she will have to should she run for president.
