Did you both just completely gloss over my "Debunking" post from the
other day? It decisively puts the argument to rest. After reading
it, I came to the conclusion that anyone who reads it and still
cleaves to the "birther" argument simply wants to.

Wow, you really ARE arrogant.

I have the same reaction to flat-earthers, Creationists, holocaust
deniers, moon landing hoaxers, 9/11 truthers, and other people who
refuse to see the simple truth in order to keep alive a nonsensical
agenda. At some point, the likelihood that they are right dwindles to
the infinitesimal, and the only conclusion I can come to is that
they're hanging on to their "theories" because they have something
else invested in it. I don't have to consider every idea to be
plausible, or even possible, in order to remain open-minded. You
can't refuse to take a position just because there are still people
on both sides debating it. At some point, the reality and logic
simply become definitive, and at this point, continuing to question
whether Obama was born in Hawaii is to ignore everything sensible and
embrace the fantastic. If that makes me arrogant, so be it, but right
now, there is nothing but conjecture and manufactured doubt on the
birthers' side. It's simply NOT LOGICAL.

It's really not a question of logic.

You have no first hand knowledge of where Obama was born.

It's a question of faith in the evidence presented and the presenters of
that evidence.

Your faith in those is obviously 100%.

Others' may be a bit less than that.

That doesn't necessarily make them illogical.
