I have to say, I agree with you, though. I'm taking a few prep courses
to get my MSW and have just gotten through with psych, now taking
anthropology. It's so much different than what college was when I
graduated almost 20 years ago. This is high school stuff. In the current
class, we have a "quiz" before every class...ONLINE...it's ten
questions, multiple choice and true/false, and obviously we can use our
books. Yet some of the students are having problems with them. I took an
exam a week ago and aced it; other students had problems with it. The
exam was 25 questions, multiple-choice, true/false, and five
fill-in-the-blanks with the answers given in a cloud below to choose
from. I would have aced this in high school. As an adult in college, I
find it insulting.
And people wonder why I'm arrogant!
