Nope...I meant what I said...and I think that you meant what you said.
Pointing out differences between the races is racist...even when there
is no disapproval or criticism attached. I believe that I use a much
broader term for racism than you, and I meant it when I said I have
never met anyone who is not racist. I may have met one, but it was
unawares :)

Hmmm...we're going to disagree on that

I'm good with that :)

There are grades here. For instance, yeah, saying "Queen Latifah is
beautiful for a black woman"--that's really racist because it subtly
says that black women aren't beautiful without the caveat.

How about: "Queen Latifah is a beautiful black woman" ?

Saying she is
beautiful without mentioning race, that's not racist. But is it racist
for me to say one of the things that makes her beautiful is the shade of
her skin? Or that I don't like extremely pale or extremely dark women?
That's not racism, that's just personal preference...like preferring
green eyes or blonde hair. And I really happen to like QL's skin tone.

I'm kinda partial to their stickity out butts :)

But we define racism differently. I argue that racism is of necessity
negative. You argue that it's neutral.

Not really neutral, just natural. I think that the world would be a
better place were it not the case, but I don't see that EVER
happening.

So I understand now why you said
my post was racist, though I disagree with your use of the word. I also
hope you realize your definition is not the commonly-understood
definition and isn't going to replace it any time soon!

Yes...most folks I know equate racist with bigotry.
