Another: so many claim to be climate experts -- knowing what caused this
or that effect and how this or that effects will continue -- yet NOT A
SIMPLE ONE can manage a useful prediction from their deep understanding.
If they don't understand the system well enough to predict its
behaviour, then they don't understand it well enough to make policy
decisions.
Except that weather, in general, can't be specifically predicted with
much accuracy. That's why your "five-day forecasts" often change. In
generalities, though, it *can* be predicted, and one thing that
climatologists have predicted that is coming true is that the weather is
becoming more chaotic and more unpredictable.
Global warming really is a misnomer and should be called global climatic
instability. Oh, and these yahoos still don't know climate from weather.
If a climatic shift prediction is off by 1/10 of a degree for 1 day they use
that as proof of failure. Just like here where a misplaced comma or
misspelling destroys your credibility. It's the same tactic they use - if
there is the slightest flaw regardless of how small, it is proof to the
contrary.
But that's okay, because it's the sun which is causing global warming,
which isn't true because the globe is cooling...
