What other labels do they compare to--e.g., better or worse than Garcia
y Vega English Coronados or similar?
Another good inexpensive smaller La Aurora is the leoninos, #4. They also
come tubed or untubed. CI often has them for 29.00/box and even once or
twice, 2 fer 29. I use them as short smokes and at those prices I don't
mind chucking them if I run out of time.
I suggest to any newbie that he learn the online retailers and check their
"deals" pages regularly. Sure, they'll get some clunkers, but they may also
get to try some great cigars reasonable prices. For instance, CI is
currently offering a box of 25 Indian Tabac Ltd. Reserve Bear (5x50) for
$50. Not the greatest cigar you ever had, but not bad at all. For $10 more
they'll include 10 Super Fuertes. JR Cigars Weekly Special is 20 La Gloria
Cubana torps and churchills for $65 - half price, and a little more than $2
each. I'm sure that the other vendors have similar deals.
