Nope, "don't ask, don't tell" appears to have worked really well for
the Scouts.
Except it is *NOT* the policy of the BSA. They have a strict ban on
homosexuals joining or being in positions of authority, as well as a
requirement to believe in a higher being. As one of the ideals they
espouse is truth and honesty, not "telling" is far from what they
expect. It would be blatantly dishonest to not tell, knowing that the
policy is that if you're gay or don't believe in God, we don't want
you here.
