I'm also going to continue breathing, blowing greater quantities of
that planet-deastoying pollutant, CO2 into the atmosphere.

I'm also going to drink a Guiness stout made by fermenting grain,
packages in a can produced by energy probably coal fired, shipped to me
probably by ship belching out diesel fumes, trucked to me by an 18
wheeler blowing hydrocarbons into the atmosphere, so I can enjoy it.

I've left my lights on, turned my a/c down by one degree, showered
longer than usual, emptying my water heater and flushed my toilets
when it wasn't necessary. I have the TV and lights on in a room that
no one is in. I've made sure my trash is a healthy mix of paper,
plastic, glass and metal.

I also went for a totally unnecessary drive today, not getting out of
the car anywhere along my route until I got back home, driving simply
to burn fuel. Then I went back out to the grocery store, and had then
put my gallon of milk in a plastic bag, and openly mocked the mindless
sheep who brought their own cloth bags to the store.

Then I mowed my front lawn even though it wasn't needed.

I'm not normally wasteful, but this endless preaching by the
Gaiaphiles has really gotten on my nerves. Earth Day my *ass*.

I couldn't afford to be this profligate every day, but Earth Day comes
but once a year.

ME TOO!!! Along with some mindless burning of paper, clicking up the
heat, destroying some plants for the hell of it, left all the lights
on in the house (INCANDESCENT!) all day and night, ignored the running
toilet and the faucet, tossed chemical fertilizer on the lawn, and
manufactured some DDT <chemists here>! :-) Oh, smoked some cigars
too!
