Obama and company sure seem to be making a lot of mistakes - some
small,
some large. It's almost as if he's surrounded himself with idiots.

Oh I dunno. The Bush's last Hanukah card was a picture of a
country-like
scene where a guy is carrying a Christmas tree on the back of a horse
drawn sleigh up to the White House.

Paul

You probably don't realize it but Bush is gone. It's a shame when you
have nothing positive to say about your boy and need to revert to
silly
comparisons.

It's a shame when you have to make an issue of something as silly as a a
set
of DVDs for the wrong region as if it were an international incident.

The issue was really hammered by the British news media. No idea what
PM Brown's reaction was. But the whole thing comes awfully close to
getting caught re-gifting.

They'll just send him a new DVD player.

... which will have the wrong plug and the wrong current.
The UK grid, like most of the world, runs on 240V.

Brown can buy a universal adapter on eBay for like 30 bucks. Works all over
the world and comes with all the plug adapters. I'm sure he can use the
government PayPal account.

Adapters will take care of the plug, but stepping up the
voltage requires more gadgetry.
