Actually, he just said "interpretations" and defined it as
changing one language into another. So it's pretty clear that
he meant them as synonyms. It's always so funny when a person
commits the error while falsely accusing someone else of the
same error. "Plain English"...oh the irony.

And again you snip to avoid context. I only replied to your mention
of Mickey's words. I was willing to take your word for it. Now,
because you were wrong about what Mickey originally said, you infer
that I am mis-characterizing it.

Mickey used the word interpretation correctly. He did not use it to
mean a direct translation from language to language. That would be a
word-for-word translation without interpretation (which would also be
wrong, since many of the words do not exist in both languages). He
used it to mean that they took the Greek, translated it to english and
interpreted intent to try to get the english version correct. That
very interpretation is fallable, and therefore can be used to call the
translation into question.
