How about 3 sardonic twits? Just checking (sorry Paul.) :-)

It would take a supreme idiot to discount the concept of present
global warming. The real question boils down to 'how much are we
contributing to it.'
Unfortunately, it's very hard to quantify that bit.
Not really. "Global Warming" is a catchphrase, a marketing tool, not
really a description. A much more descriptive phrase would be
"climate change".
The trouble with that, from a "marketing it to the ballot cattle" POV,
is that even the most brain dead among us can see the climate is
ALWAYS changing, and always has been, and always will be. It was
changing before man got here, and it will go on changing. It's a
dynamic system.
OTOH, it's precisely those ballot cattle who need to be scared so they will
stampede into the right direction (thanks for that good image, Mickey). As
individuals, we find it hard to formulate and implement long-term planning.
As corporate entities, we are reluctant to do so, being very conservative
beasts at heart. As part of larger voting blocs we have an IQ equal to a
concussed lemming and as amorally self-centred as a three-year-old. So in
the end it is a matter of secondary interest whether humans contribute to
global climate change, and to which degree -- if the scare story gets us to
mend and improve our ways, then its purpose is done.
