I think you are. You're pretending to go along with the
crowd, which is bowing to their god, but in fact you're
praying to your god. Everyone around you thinks you're
doing what they are, for the same reason, and you don't
disabuse them of the fact.

What Misc said. You are simply respecting their place of worship by
not "making a scene". You are allowing them the same freedom you have,
that is, to exercise their beliefs.

It's not a question of being respectful to their God, it's a question
of being respectful to the people around you.
