I think exactly the same can be said for the the past two elections when Bush was elected. I think the far-right media can be accused of doing "anything they can do to achieve that goal". The shoe was just on the other foot back then.

Aside from Fox who are these far right media?

Well let's see:

CBS is owned by Westinghouse/Viacom a huge republican party donor and supporter and rabid censorship proponent - also Westinghouse is a gigfantic defense contractor which makes among other things nuclear bombs.

NBC is owned by GE which is the biggest defense contractor in the world and gave 1.1 million to GWB in 2004 alone.

MSNBC is owned by Microsoft which gave 2.4 million to GWB in 2000 alone

ABC is owned by Disney which is a loyal republican water carrier and generous donor

CNN is owned by Time-Warner generous republican donor

Clear Channel Radio - Owned by a loyal Bush "Pioneer" - owns more than 1200 stations and refuses to syndicate Air America radio even in markets where it is profitable.

That is the short list and it comprises almost 100% of the media market for radio, televsion and printed news.

How much did these same corporation donate to the democrats, and you know they did, no company is going to take a chance on being left on the outside looking in.

And while you're at it in what market has Air America shown a profit and if they are already on the air in that market showing said profit why do they need another syndicator there?
